Here are some questions I been asked

Question :

How often should my westie be groomed and clipped?

Answer:

It is recommended every 6-8 weeks, the time frame is similar for most breeds but some breeds will need to be groomed more frequently to insure their coat remains in brilliant condition.

Question:

How will I know when my dog needs their nails cut?

Answer:

You can find this out by, placing your dog on a flat service and looking at his nails. If the nails are touching the floor, or are starting to curl, these are indicators that they will need to be clipped. By walking your dog on the pavement or by nail filing the nails this will shorten the nails without the need of being clipped, but the jewclaws would most probably need clipping as, due to their location on the paws, they are unable to touch the floor.

Question:

How do I know my dog needs their anal glands emptied?

Answer:

If your dog starts to scoot her bottom on the floor or there is a smelly discharge from her anus or she constant licking her anus, these actions indicate your dog does need their anal glands emptied. These are common actions a dog does when the anal glands are causing trouble, dogs empty their glands on their own but sometimes need help. These actions can also indicate worms and other conditions as well, so it is advisable to seek veterinary help for the glands to be emptied and checked. Leaving the problem can cause infection in the anal glands and impaction.

Questions:
